When you open a profile on Vysya Pelli, you will see porutham guidance — a summary of the traditional star (nakshatram) and rasi compatibility checks between the two profiles.
What it shows
The commonly used poruthams — such as dina, gana, yoni, rasi, rasi adhipathi, rajju and vedhai — computed from the star and rasi each family entered.
What it does not do
It does not read the full horoscope chart, dasa periods or dosham in the way an astrologer does, and it cannot know anything a family has not entered.
Our advice
Treat the guidance as a first filter that saves time. When a profile interests you, share both jadhagams with your family astrologer before taking the next step.
