Who can use Vysya Pelli?
Approved eCensus members of the Arya Vysya community. The person the profile is for must be at least 21 (men) or 18 (women).
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no charge for posting a profile, browsing or sending interest. If anyone asks you for money in the name of Vysya Pelli, please report it.
Can parents post a profile for their son or daughter?
Yes — parents, siblings or close relatives often do. The person the profile describes must know about it and agree.
Who can see my phone number?
Nobody, until you accept an interest from another family. Then only that family sees your contact details.
Why can’t I see profiles from my own gothram?
In keeping with community custom, profiles from the same gothram are not shown to each other.
Is the porutham shown reliable?
It is computed from the star and rasi entered in each profile and is meant as a first filter. Please consult your family astrologer with both jadhagams before deciding.
How long does approval take and how long does a profile stay active?
Approval usually takes a few days. A profile stays active for 180 days and can be renewed.
Does approval mean the details are verified?
Approval confirms the profile belongs to a registered member. It does not verify education, job, income or horoscope — families should verify independently before proceeding.
How do I pause or remove my profile?
From your account or the app, at any time. Please let us know when a marriage is fixed — and share your story if you wish!
